Meet Dr. Soxman

 Dr. Soxman began her career in healthcare as an intensive and coronary care nurse.  She attended Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, where she taught after her graduation in 1980. Specialty training was completed at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a Fellow in the American College of Dentists and column contributor and manuscript reviewer for General Dentistry. She teaches as a seminar instructor for the General Practice Residencies at Allegheny General Hospital and the Veterans' Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Soxman has authored numerous articles and is the editor of the Handbook of Clinical Techniques in Pediatric Dentistry, sold world-wide. Her conversational style of speaking incorporates a review of the dental literature and more than thirty years of practice experience, earning her national recognition as a leader in continuing education.  She maintains a private practice in pediatric dentistry in Allison Park, Pennsylvania.
